Journey time: Stupid - Something like 4 1/2 - 5 hours.
Games - (a description as much for my reference as anything):
Had to wander around for a while until I actually found people who were IC. Paul then spent most of the evening in what turned out to be the Archon's waiting room. Conversations were constantly interrupted by the silly Valet constantly asking if we wanted anything. Paul couldn't remember if Lycurgus was an Elder or not. And I kept trying to say clever things but they'd just come out wrong. Most of the discussion was quite interesting, although I couldn't remember the name Maximillian Arturro or just Mr Arturro![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
anysbryd's character. But a good evening mostly.
Followed on almost directly, although we did try and sneak out and find food in the middle but it didn't happen. We were too late.
Got changed and turned up. Was talking to people a bit whenlucfia turned up as Katrina accompanied by Alexis. I think I managed to convey quite a bit of surprise (despite the fact that I new it was going to happen :) )
Introduced her to those that I knew. Much sabbatty talking then someone said there would be games or challenges, so Dalibor, John st-Wotsit, Katrina and Alexis joined some others with the Bishop of Kent to be a pack from the South coast in general - we'd have kicked ass I'm sure. But the tests were crap and those organising it didn't seem to know what they were doing really. Then someone came in - possibly the Bishop of London - and announced that he needed the lowly for a mission to prove themselves. Dalibor - having and eeeevil dark secret - volunteered. They took us to outside a room and then we entered and there was the Priscus Sasha Vicos. She'd called a wild hunt on the traitor Arch Bishop Mendez. We then had a planning session, and then set off. Cut the long story short, the bulk of the party attacked this 8th Gen assistant whilst Twiglight and I attacked this door of shadows, which once we'd got through and wiped out a bear of shadow we found Mendez's unconscious body. Eventually we staked her and took her back. The 8th gen had run away, but we had the target. Priscus Vicos was pleased and we then got to dibble her with the ritual thing in front of everyone - how cool! Tragically I lost the tests to go up a Gen - Poo!
Very strange - Did Npcing. played a humanoid dog who had to keep the mages on the island. Much fun
Hugh Huntingdon is in the Umbra Domitas and contracted a blood disease that made him unconsious when he admitted this to Avery Clifford. Avery Clifford left swiftly - that was really the only point of note.
Paul walked in peered at a table of heads and realised they were real he exited swifted and "got some fresh air" (interpret as necessary). He then returned avoiding the table and mingled a bit. He asked for the Heads to be removed and then they were placed in another room which Paul just didn't enter (apparently there were many arty things on display in there too, some of them very wrong).
He mingled some more and spoke at length with Prince McCloud of Huddersfield. Their conversation was held in patches around the entrancing flute playing of one of the Toreador who's name I forget. Paul spoke to several others and then halfway through the evening found Prince Lloyd of Leeds who had just annexed the area we were in.
He asked if Paul would be willing to be Keeper of Elysium for the remainer of the evening. Paul agreed and the Prince told him to speak with Mr Green (sherrif) about informing the Archons. The Prince had said he could appoint any seconds he saw fit so he left Mr Green in the waiting room and went to grab people - Mr Ryder, Mr Charmin and Mr Huntingdon to assist him. He then returned to the waiting room - I thought that Mr Green would do tell the archon's for Paul but no. So Paul knocked and told them as briefly as possible. Thank you they said - please tell the other Archon. Paul tracked her down and let her know, and she took him in arm and wandered back to the main room. Paul flitted about trying to make sure noone broke Elysium and generally that went fine but apparently some Sabbat did attack a camarilla person but there wasn't much I could do about it, and the evening was ending (I only found out as I was asking people to move to the main room for the Prince's announcements.) He spoke with many people especially Elder Howard - a charming gentleman and Edie - an amusing beauty - both Toreadors. Many others were chatted with.
